What the results tell us for Tumut

Available data show that the shire was drier than average in all four years in this reporting period (2004-2008). 2006/07 was the second driest July-June 12 month period on record at Tumut. There is evidence from across the region that the reporting period was also warmer than average, with both daytime and night-time temperatures above the long-term average in most years.
