What the results tell us for Eurobodalla
Eurobodalla Shire Council reports there were three confirmed contaminated sites in the Shire at 31 July 2009 (see Table 1).

The Shire Council acknowledges that its records and data with regard to Contaminated Sites are inadequate and that the type of data required by state of the environment reports is not on its records.
This lack of data needs addressing, preferably during the 2008 - 2012 period to bring Eurobodalla Shire into line with other Councils in the region. The data required includes level of contamination, prioritisation for rehabilitation/remediation, and sites where the Shire Council has responsibility for rehabilitation/remediation (e.g. former council depot site).
